Flooding at Katiri Primary School

We were all saddened to hear about the flooding at Katiri Primary School in Uganda. See below some photos and text from Eric, the headteacher, as well as a link to the Just Giving page where you can make a donation https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/chris-lloyd-172

Dear all at Compton, greetings from Katiri.

On Sunday morning River Nyamwamba burst its banks and flooded into Katiri primary school silting a ten classroom block to ring bin level destroying our modern library of 5000 text books, 70 office chairs, 300 three seated desks, 10 latrine stances, TV set, 10 tables, scholastic materials, sports uniforms, slates, book shelves and other records. It was a real tragedy. The whole of Kilembe copper valley was hit badly.

Kindly pray for us to renovate our modern library, scholastic materials and other equipments. How are you getting on with the pandemic?

May God bless us all through out this challenging moments.

Best regards

Masereka Eric.
