Internet Safety Awareness Evening at Thornden School

On Tuesday 19th November Thornden School will be hosting a presentation on the importance of internet safety, delivered by Lorin LaFave, whose 14 year old son was groomed and murdered by someone he met online. Following her son’s death Lorin founded The Breck Foundation, a self-funding charity whose focus is raising awareness of playing safe whilst gaming and using the internet. Lorin’s story is a tragic one but one that we can all learn valuable lessons from. Tickets for the event are available from Thornden School and cost just £2.00.
