School Milk

From 1st January 2015 all schools in England are legally required to offer milk to pupils who would like it during the school day. In order to administer this the school has registered with Cool Milk.

If you would like your child to receive milk all you need to do is register them at . Only children in Classes 2, 3 and 4 (Hedgehogs, Foxes and Falcons) will need to be registered. Thanks to funding from the CSA we are continuing to provide milk, free of charge, to all children in Class 1 (Ladybirds) and this will not be part of the Cool Milk scheme.

Once your child is registered you will receive a payment request from Cool Milk. You can pay online, over the phone or by cheque in half termly, termly or annual instalments. Cool Milk are already aware of our term dates, inset days etc. so you will not be billed for any days unnecessarily.

Children in key stage 2 who are entitled to free school meals are also entitled to free milk. These children still need to register with Cool Milk but will not be charged.

Children will be provided with a 189ml carton of fresh, chilled milk at break times at a cost of around £15/term. You can request milk every day or on specific days.

If you have any queries please feel free to contact the school office or visit the Cool Milk website, .
