Class Topics
Our curriculum topics are arranged into two year cycles. In Key Stage 1, some subjects work on a three year cycle, and some on a three year cycle. In Key Stage 2, all classes operate on a two year cycle.

Text Drivers
Our curriculum topics are also often linked to a rich literacy text. These texts drive our English learning for the term. Sometimes the text will also be used as the class book for story time, and sometimes more than one core text will be used. In each unit, other books, texts or media will be used to support the English learning journey. Like our curriculum topics, we alternate these on a two year cycle. Below you will find examples of our text drivers, however, these are not fixed and teachers will adapt and change these as the year goes on to meet the needs of their class.
